ZVEZDA Factory: Science and Technology for the Arctic

At the VII Northern Forum, a discussion titled "Arctic 2050: Technologies, Ecology, Human" took place. The development of the Arctic zone until 2050 has been defined as a strategic task of national scale. The main instrument for its implementation is the Transarctic Transport Corridor (TTC), which unites the Northern Sea Route, port infrastructure, river routes, and land highways into a single network.

Within the section "Intelligent Monitoring Systems and New Materials", Nadezhda Filippova, Doctor of Technical Sciences and Deputy General Director for Science at YANTS SB RAS, presented a report titled "Arctic Scientific Potential as a Driver for the Development of the Transarctic Transport Corridor". The report emphasised the need to integrate scientific developments for the implementation of large-scale transport projects, including cold-resistant steels, new composite materials, superhard alloys, and digital monitoring systems.

For the ZVEZDA factory, this is daily practice. Our all-terrain vehicles are developed with Arctic scientific potential in mind. The durability of components at temperatures down to -60°C, the use of innovative materials, and the ability to integrate into northern logistics chains make ZVEZDA all-terrain vehicles a reliable element of the Transarctic Corridor.
