At the VII Northern Forum in Yakutsk, the Resolution of the discussion platform "Arctic 2050" was presented. The document, which brought together proposals from Russian Academy of Sciences scientists, government representatives, and experts, defines directions for the sustainable development of the Transarctic Transport Corridor.

The main goal is to create a Transarctic Transport Corridor that will connect the Northern Sea Route, Siberian rivers, and land routes.

Impact on Mechanical Engineering and ZVEZDA Plant:

  • Focus on year-round logistics: our all-season amphibious all-terrain vehicles meet the requirement for cargo delivery independence from short "windows" of winter roads or navigation.
  • New generation materials: The ZVEZDA Plant uses cold-resistant steels, composites, and wear-resistant coatings in the assembly of all-terrain vehicles, which aligns with scientists' recommendations for operation in extreme conditions.
  • Digitalisation: vehicles must be integrated into a unified digital monitoring system for telemetry collection, routing, and risk prediction.

The development of the Arctic until 2050 is a task of national scale. The ZVEZDA Plant is proud that the equipment we produce can become a reliable link in this global logistics chain.
