Within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum, a crucial working meeting was held, dedicated to the development of the Northern Forum and the expansion of its interaction with the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Alexander Blokhin, General Director of the ZVEZDA Plant, and Nadezhda Filippova, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, personally participated in this meeting, which took place in the pavilion of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). For our company, participation in such strategic discussions is extremely important, as ZVEZDA equipment is created precisely to ensure transport accessibility along the Northern Sea Route and Trans-Arctic transport corridors.
Strategic Goals and New Regions: Today, cooperation between the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Northern Forum is reaching a new level. An initiative to include new regions of the Arctic zone, Siberia, and the Far East is being considered. The goal is to create a single powerful association along the Northern Sea Route and the main transport corridors connecting Russia with Asia. This will attract the attention of Asian partners and significantly expand the geography of business membership.
Presentation at the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in honour of the 35th anniversary: With great satisfaction, the meeting participants discussed the proposal of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to hold a large-scale presentation of the Northern Forum at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in connection with the organisation's 35th anniversary. A very lively and interested dialogue took place regarding the formats of the event – from a briefing to a full-fledged presentation. Everyone was unanimous on the need for broad coverage of the Forum's activities in the anniversary year.
