From 7 to 10 October 2026, the VII Northern Forum on Sustainable Development will take place in Yakutsk – an international expert platform bringing together representatives of science, education, business, government bodies, and public organisations to discuss the future of the North and the Arctic.
📍 Venue: M.K. Ammosov North-Eastern Federal University campus, Yakutsk.
This year, the focus is on human capital in the age of artificial intelligence: demography, new competencies, strategies, and labour market transformation.
The programme includes a plenary session, thematic sections, round tables, panel discussions, international dialogues, project presentations, lectures, foresight sessions, master classes, and the exhibition “For the Arctic and the North: A Solutions Laboratory”.
