A round table entitled "Russia's Subsoil: Technological Sovereignty in Geological Exploration" was held in Moscow at the Sergo Ordzhonikidze Russian State Geological Prospecting University (MGRI).
During the discussion, issues of import substitution, interaction between science and business, and the development of domestic equipment for subsoil exploration were discussed.

The ZVEZDA Factory team took part in the event. Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Nadezhda Filippova presented a report on new Russian mobile complexes for geological exploration.

It was noted that effective exploration of hard-to-reach territories in the North and Arctic requires not only advanced equipment, but also means of delivering it without building permanent roads.
We told the round table participants, among whom were representatives of Moscow State University, MIPT, the Institute of Physics of the Earth of the Russian Academy of Sciences and other scientific centres, about our mobile complexes based on amphibious all-terrain vehicles.
Drilling rigs, mobile laboratories and living modules can be placed on ZVEZDA all-terrain vehicle chassis. Such machines are capable of operating autonomously at extreme temperatures, overcoming swamps, snow and water obstacles.
