At the VIII Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference "Arctic Vector: Personnel for the Arctic!", held in Yakutsk, one of the key issues was the training of highly qualified specialists for the development of the Arctic.

Doctor of Technical Sciences, Deputy General Director for Science of YSC SB RAS Nadezhda Filippova presented a report "Engineers for the Arctic: integration of academic institutions and personnel training" within the track "Social Sphere, Human Capital and Traditions".
For ZVEZDA Plant, this issue is of fundamental importance, as the creation of complex special equipment, such as all-terrain vehicles, mobile drilling rigs, and mobile laboratories capable of operating at extremely low temperatures, requires a high level of engineering thought.

Nadezhda Filippova noted the importance of combining the efforts of scientific and educational institutions to train specialists who understand the specifics of the Far North and are ready to solve non-standard technological problems.
