In early May, when Arctic roads turn into an impassable route, our team defied the elements.
For the first time in history, a ground journey was made using all-terrain vehicles from Yakutsk to Batagay – the administrative centre of Verkhoyansk District.
Until this moment, no wheeled or tracked vehicle had traversed this route at the peak of the spring thaw. This was not just a trip, but a full-fledged expedition with two goals:
- To test the capabilities of ZVEZDA all-terrain vehicles in the most extreme conditions.
- To deliver equipment to the Verkhoyansk District to perform important transport tasks during the summer period.
This unprecedented journey became the first stage of a major Verkhoyansk mission. We proved that for ZVEZDA equipment, there are no seasons or obstacles.
